Safari KMZ Files and Google Earth

Has anyone gotten Safari to pass off downloaded kmz files to Google Earth?

Works like a charm in FireFox. FF downloads the kmz file and then passes it off to Google Earth.

Safari just downloads the file and does nothing with it.

I have created a com.apple.DownloadAssessment.plist file which tells Safari that kmz and kml files are "safe". I have set Safari to automatically open "safe" files. I have restarted Safari.

No joy. Ideas?
