can't replace previously removed plastic keycap for Down key

I took the plastic keycap for the down key of my powerbook off and I cant get it back on. I have taken it off before and was able to get it back on but now I cant. Can anybody help???

Have you checked on whether there might be kryptonite in the area? Seriously, I don't know any "tricks" if they don't just snap back into place.
