OS 10.2 and Novell network

I am the lone Mac in a PC group. They run a Novell network and previously I had to reboot into OS 9 to conect.

I have tried the OS 10.x stand alone product from prosoft (NetWare Client for Mac OS X IP Edition) but it does not work on our system.

When booting in OS 10.2 I note that the word novell flashes by. Does that mean there is a way to access a Novell network directly through Jaguar? If so, how???

All ideas appreciated.

Jonathan
