Mail.app mailbox import question.
Hi All,
Just Did a mailbox import but the original Inbox, Sent and Drafts didn't arrive. Are they a separate copy somehow? TIA Gavin |

When you did the import, did you select the entire mail folder or you choose a specific mbox file ? Also when you went to import, did you make sure to put a check mark to all the folders listed, such as Inbox, Outbox, etc ?

Fixed.
I have actually fixed it myself in the end and here's how: No knowledge involved but after a few months around here, I got a feel for these .plist files (dangerous, eh? :-)), so I just recopied all the.plist files over again manually and, bingo, everything was there.
Due to me being on the opposite side of the world to most of you, I had the time difference to sit out, so I thought it worth a try.. Thanks for the feedback. To answer your question, I just followed the automated import process under the Mail>File menu. My approach was not very scientific but I am flying early this morning and needed my mailboxes intact when I left, so I was up for trying anything - wanted to take my new toy with me... :-) Cheers Gavin |
