Adding a NIC to a dual 1Ghz G4

I've got a new G4 that I want to add a second NIC to. What I have is a used PNIC 10/100 PCI card I want to add to the system, and since tis card was originally in a few years old Motorala Power PC Mac, my thinking is that it'd work. However, being as new to OSX as I am, I'm not sure how to add it. Being as OSX is based on *BSD, I'm assumiing adding it like one would add a driver in linux, (yes I know they aren't the same) by (at least the way i did it, using an insmod <driver> command. However, searching all day as I have I haven't had much luck on finding a driver nor finding any good resources in assisting me on the actual process. Any pointers would be appreciated.
