New Mini with SSD slow boot.

I just fitted my new Mini with an OWC SSD and 16Gb of RAM. OS X ML.

It boots significantly more slowly (3x) than my 2010 MBA, 4GB RAM, OWC SSD, also on ML.

Any ideas why?

Consistently, or the first time?

Cycle it a couple of times to let the caches settle in.

I put an intel SSD in my MB, huge improvement. Which now leads me to think you may have bought a slow SSD. What model is it?

Does it show a gray progression bar at the start of the boot? If so, and if you use a Bluetooth keyboard then it's probably a BT keyboard communication problem.
