Launch Pad Items re-arrange after restart

Heh..well, I was about due for another weird problem...

Got things just so in Launch Pad, then did a restart and when I opened Launch Pad, everything was all scrambled up compared to how I'd set it up!

Is this a bug or a feature? Maybe a sort of finger exercise, having to move everything back?
