Spaces in Mountain Lion

Is it true that Mountain Lion no longer supports "Spaces", that the Spaces functionality is lost?

ETA - According to Wikipedia it is still there? Right?

Technically, Mountain Lion is only available to developers for evaluation, under a non-disclosure agreement.

In 10.7 Lion, you have to create Desktops, which are roughly the same as Spaces, in Mission Control.

Linen,

I have no knowledge, but I'm certain that "Spaces" or "Desktops" will be in Mountain Lion. I believe this for two strong reasons; 1) Apple added a hardware function key for Mission Control to their Mac keyboards and Mission Control is where spaces live, 2) Mission Control is in Mountain Lion--you can see the dock icon for it on Apple's Mountain Lion page.

Thank you both for your replies.

I'm using Lion right now, just started a week or so ago, and I'm just learning how to use Mission Control as Spaces. Indeed I noticed the "+" that appears in the top right hand corner if I move the cursor to the Desktop row... And that is how I create a Desktop. Okay cool.

I heard a rumor about Desktops/Spaces in Mountain Lion that very much worried me. I "love" multiple Desktops - which is what Spaces was. And I was really afraid that this function had been removed. Good to know it wasn't.
