Reeder vs. Mr. Reader

I'm trying to decide between Reeder and Mr. Reader and I'd like to know a few specific things about their respective features as of today. All of the comparison-oriented reviews that I've seen (and reviews of Mr. Reader alone) date from Mr. Reader's debut. Most of the reviews of Reeder I've found date from last year when everybody was so excited about it. Both apps have beed updated several times. While Mr. Reader's web site has a full version history, the only update details I can find about Reeder is the info about the latest revision on its app store page.

Has anyone here tried either or both recently? Here's what I'd like to know:

- Does Mr. Reader's sync popup still block activity in the app or is a change to that what the developer means when he writes that he's switched to the system activity indicator?

- Has Reeder added a way to manipulate feeds (subscribe to new, move between folders, etc.) from within the app?

- Which syncs faster in their current versions?

- Does Reeder have a way to read all feeds from a given folder simultaneously? None of the screenshots I've seen show folders in action (as far as I can tell, anyway).

Also, if anybody reading this has additional insight on either or both of these (or maybe some better RSS/google reader app I've never heard of), please don't hesitate to contribute.

Thanks in advance.
