Xee image viewer_jpg icons weirdness

Hi -

just downloaded Xee - a quick and small app that makes Preview more like Windows Picture Viewer...anyway I have been rotating and saving and viewing photos in Xee and now some of the thumbnails are the "Xee JPG" icon. These files do open up fine. It is just a few of the ones I viewed - most are unharmed.

Any fixes to restore thumbs?

Maybe I'll try "Just Looking" another freeware that looked decent.
