Apple Mail Program Woes

My Mail program has been actiung screwy lately
Every time I try to open it, it gets part of the way open
and it then quits "unexpectedly"
If anyone can help me with this, that would be awesome

I also had the same problem with DVD Player and Internet Explorer. I found that my preferences were bad for both of these, and I suspect that it is the same for you. You can trouble shoot this by creating a new user, if you have the privledges, and try using mail through this. If this is the problem then you can delete the preferences. Before you do this, thought, make a copy of the preference. It is located in /Users/(you)/Library/Preferences/ and delete "com.apple.mail.plist".
