Browser Game Recommendations?

I know a few of you guys out there play web based flash games, I wondered if any of you had some suggestions for good games, or possibly just wanted to share what your favorite flash game is?

Anti 12-15-2008 04:03 AM

They aren't flash based, but I like Urban Dead (urbandead.com) and Nexus War (nexuswar.com).

fazstp 12-15-2008 02:36 PM

Have you tried Stacky-shack?

(Only joking... it's my half-arsed attempt at a Shockwave game that I never got around to finishing :o)

Or perhaps this half-arsed, half completed emu?

fazstp 12-19-2008 03:38 PM

Kel recommended MoFunZone in an old thread.

I've found a ton of interesting games using StumbleUpon.

Sorry Kel, just didn't want to leave Z hanging :). I hadn't tried the site myself so couldn't offer a personal recommendation.

It would seem this one should be grouped right in there with crack! I can't seem to figure out how to put up a good defense though. I'm trying to create a maze, and then balance between upgrading and building new units... Easy was, well, easy. Medium is giving me trouble so far.

I like to build zig zag mazes with lots of freeze and stun weapons. Then the water towers upgraded to the max are the best because they have the fastest rate of fire.

There are also different play modes. There is one play mode where it just gives you a lump sum of money and you then just let it roll.

Really? How do I get to that play mode then?

This game is really crazy addicting. My wife and I spent a couple hours playing it today. Predictably, she can now kick my butt through the ceiling... Oh well, it's a nice friendly competition (at least as long as she keeps winning it is :D).

tlarkin 12-22-2008 02:48 AM

click on the challenge mode and check youtube for good defense videos they are there haha

My favorite one is the one where you start with 3k coins.
Just look what you can do with all that money :D..

Stercus 12-28-2008 02:52 PM

I like Lock's Quest and Wild West Online

Lock's Quest is a flash version of an awesome Nintendo DS game by the same name.

WWO is free Western MMO played from the web. It is more advanced than most flash games, but no WOW contender. I enjoy it though.

Got through medium on 6468 points with no losses (only just, had to add some last minute squirters to the perimeter after level 48 spawn bosses got through the maze).

No one has mentioned www.brainchef.com yet?
Zombies vs humans, really simple multiplayer RPG-type game. But addictive.

I've played it for like an hour now. I've found the mission to Mars to be the most challenging one so far. Here's my solution to it ;)

Very reminiscent of the Phun physics simulator that Kel posted a while back. I don't know if Phun was the first but I've seen a few games since then based on that same sort of engine.

Here's my Mission to Mars.

You know, I wish I could remember the original game that got me started on this thread. I remember that it was music based and involved using circles to redirect particles into other circles to create a song... Sounds like an acid dream now that I read what I just wrote... Maybe I'm just going insane these days :).

Isn't Quake Live suppose to be browser based?

http://news.gotgame.com/quake-live-b...ake-iii/24372/

I signed up for the beta, still waiting for my invite to be processed.

tlarkin 02-11-2009 11:55 AM

SWEET!!! I just got an invite to Quake Live Beta from a friend!!!!

Gotta wait till I get the email for it though, takes about an hour

Jay Carr 02-11-2009 12:09 PM

How does one go about getting an invite?
