I was hoping to buy a new hid conversion kit but I am not sure what colour looks good on my car. Any advice?

For a minute there, I thought he meant HID as in Human Interface Device.

Those HID lights are really annoying. I think they are banned in some states.

Those HID converters replace regular headlights on a car with some xenon-gas bulbs (or something).

Sure, that bright purple-blue light looks cool from a distance, but not when it's shining directly into your eyes. They are so bright, it's almost impossible to see the road in front of you when someone on the opposite side of the road is shining them in your face while driving at night.
