What has forced you to smile today?

I would like to know, what has forced you to smile today?

apple is shipping my MacBook Air...

J Christopher 01-31-2008 08:56 AM

750 mL spring water (~99˚C)
14 grams French roast coffee (ground)
One French press
half and half
sugar

It is always pleasurable to have the time to make and savor my own coffee instead of the lousy stuff they sell in the area coffee shops, convenience stores and restaurants. (The non-paper filter of the French press makes all the difference.)

Coffee pretty much always make me smile. Even the awful stuff Starbucks serves.

M-m-m... Then to smile more often I'd like to prefer "a pretty coffee" :)

I work for an M$ partner and when i started I had my MBP for about 4 months. When I went to my first client with the rest of the staff, I took the MBP. Granted my boss/company owner was not happy. Few weeks later they gave me the office hand-me-down. Then a co-worker quit and I got her IBM. (Nice, but too small and no MBP) After a few discussions and demos of the MBP with my boss/company owner he went and got one, didn't go all out got the Black MB. Had a phone call with him and he heard the Adium notifications and said he can't believe i convinced him to get one & he takes it with him now to meetings. What a great day. I've convinced him to get one. I wonder if he'll take it to convergence in Orlando?

Raveen, that story really brought a smile on my face. :)
One more thing: driving home through the pouring rain, after a meeting with a film production team, playing Stephan Micus’ "To The Evening Child". (reviews)

Finishing my resume.

I suppose it's more of a smile of relief than actual joy.

Futurama is animated television series. Created by Matt Groening (the creator of The Simpsons). There's a lot of funny stuff in the movie.

If I open the link with video, I see next banners "You are the 10 000 visitor here!", or "You can receive a bonus". I try to close them to start watching video, but the window with video closes too!!! What to do?

Don't close anything, just press something like "Skip this ad" in the upper part of the browser window

Memories of a big weekend and watching Family Guy at four in the morning with five people who hadn't seen it before. Magic. (Season five: when a barbershop quartet explain vasectomies to Peter in song)

Also my wife. :)

setta 02-05-2008 06:15 AM

I've smiled today because I've found a friend who I haven't seen for 5 years!

Anti 02-07-2008 01:35 AM

haha classic, but my fav moment of family guy so far is the scene when they all start throwing up :p. Is family guy still cancelled, or are they releasing more episodes soon?

Anyway finally finishing my geography project has put a smile on my face, 3 months of work all on my usb drive ready to print out at school tomorrow. I just pray that the printer at school doesnt break :o
