The problem with that assumption, is that a decimal system would never be using a second decimal point in the first place! :cool: Therefore there was a clue from the very beginning that we're not dealing with decimals.

I had one piece of software (from Apple no less!) which refused to install because I needed to have "10.4.7 or higher," and I had 10.4.10. Sheesh. It was easily fixed by hacking the installer script, but you'd think Apple themselves would get it right.

Really? Isn't showing up on my MacBook Pro. Only the Audio update, which I didn't need but downloaded anyway.
