I'm too lazy to google=) Stupid ... Obsessed with MP3 Players! Mp3 Player tattoos... Oh, my god |
I have an old friend (now an old man) who woke up on his ship after a shore leave (Navy) in Tokyo with two huge, brightly colored dragons fighting on his chest. His nipples were their eyes. He spent a lifetime swimming in a T-shirt, not thinking his tat projected the appropriate image for a prominent small town lawyer. Not too many folks ever saw it. I did, because as a college student it occurred to me to get a tattoo and he promptly dissuaded me.

Shore leave - I think they had a good time there! |
After a long Naval engagement by the Canadian Navy during the Korean war in the early 50's, they had an R & R stopover in Tokyo. He (then about 18) went ashore with his drinking buddies for some drinks and an oil change. Next thing he remembers, he was in his bunk, sore as hell.

Ever see the movie Live Free Die Hard? The guy living in his mothers basement... I'm sure we can all make the connection. Don't get me wrong, I love my technology just as much as the next but GET OUT THE HOUSE!!! Really. Sunshine, does a body good.

It is NOT a tattoo
Whatever it is, it is not a tattoo. Specter says it looks to be painted. I agree.
The albedo is wrong for a tattoo. It might even be "Photoshopped," a query I base on the paler appearance of the extraliminal skin. Also, and not related or relevant (but that's the sort of thread this is), the individual in the photo linked to the first post in this thread has the most common genetic skin disorder, keratosis pilaris, inherited as an autosomal dominant. |
He still has it in the same position in this photo and was apparently flown to some MS thing on the basis of the tatt.

Oh, no . . .
Well, I looked at that link just above, posted by fazstp
When the first post in THAT thread says "Have the entire decortations in pink and orange" I think that what is meant is "decortications," or removal of the cortex, presumably the cerebral cortex. |
