The most stupid thing I have EVER seen.
seriously.......
http://www.zunescene.com/forums/index.php?topic=16115.0 what goes on in some peoples heads?..... obviously not alot! |
Hmmmm....my theory is that: that symbol symbolises the Zune, so if Zune is a bad word in another language (i can't rember what that language is), then he is walking around with a bad/dirty word on his arm, and the fact that it was designed by mickeysoft/microsucks/microsocks/[whatever] makes it even worse.
At first when i saw the close up, i thought that it was B. Gates trying a new advertizing campaign, until i saw the one of the tatoo's owner. |

Now I'm curious, though - anyone have a tatooed Apple logo? beat a zune any day... |
Having personal friends of mine that are actually tattoo artists, I can say it doesn't surprise me one bit. People get the dumbest ass tattoos all the time, and the tattoo artist needs money to survive so they are always like, thats cool man, it'll be $150 bucks.
I personally have no tattoos, but maybe get my irish coat of arms or something that would represent me. Definitely not anything to do with technology. i have seen people who have the Apple logo tattooed on them before http://www.theapplecollection.com/Co...s/tattoo.shtml so yes people in general are just stupid. Haven't you read any douglas adams? We all know dolphins are way smarter than people....duh |
My vote goes in for the mice actually :). I still need to read esoteric detective agency (correct my if I mispoke the title...)
One of captions on the apple collection site mentioned that a couple went on vacation and came back with Apple tats. I have to wonder, what's the story on that? Did a bunch of artsy geeks throw a serious keeger and, in the middle of the intoxicated confusion, decided that sickest thing ever would be to get an Apple tat? Honestly... |

I would never have a tatoo.... if I had one of something that meant a great deal to me 10 years ago... I would probiably have a Guns n Roses or Iron Maiden tatoo on my arm :eek::eek: ........and I cant think of anything else I would want less on my body now! |
it looks like this, but there are several color variations

I am sorry if I _WAS_ going to get a tattoo, which I am not, I definitely would _NOT_ get one of any technology company or device.

I think there are a million good reasons not to get a tatoo....
just imagine all those Gary Glitter fans that got tatoo's...! D'y wanna be in my Gang?.... err no thank Gary! |
Ok, people are going nutz here over some nerd getting a Zune tattoo, but from the link that tlarkin posted (always quality links), apple fans go one step further into the realm of tattoo stupidity:
I mean....C'mon!!! http://www.theapplecollection.com/Co...Apple-Tatt.jpg |
Well, I think that tattoo is a thing that you will definitely want to get rid of in several years, but шне is impossible to do that without any traces left. I have never had a wish to get a tattoo. And I don't understand some young people who make tattoos on their bodies - when you're aged it doesn't look that cool and modern!
|
Five years from now the Zune may not even exist, but that tattoo will! Even the guy's Apple logo is dated, it hasn't been rainbow colored in years.
|
i did some imaging editing with the larkin crest for some guys web site i designed:
http://www.larkindc.com its the shield part up at the top. and the site isnt that great, built off a dreamweaver template, but he loved it! :) |

I'm too lazy to google=) Stupid ... Obsessed with MP3 Players! Mp3 Player tattoos... Oh, my god |
I have an old friend (now an old man) who woke up on his ship after a shore leave (Navy) in Tokyo with two huge, brightly colored dragons fighting on his chest. His nipples were their eyes. He spent a lifetime swimming in a T-shirt, not thinking his tat projected the appropriate image for a prominent small town lawyer. Not too many folks ever saw it. I did, because as a college student it occurred to me to get a tattoo and he promptly dissuaded me.

Shore leave - I think they had a good time there! |
After a long Naval engagement by the Canadian Navy during the Korean war in the early 50's, they had an R & R stopover in Tokyo. He (then about 18) went ashore with his drinking buddies for some drinks and an oil change. Next thing he remembers, he was in his bunk, sore as hell.

Ever see the movie Live Free Die Hard? The guy living in his mothers basement... I'm sure we can all make the connection. Don't get me wrong, I love my technology just as much as the next but GET OUT THE HOUSE!!! Really. Sunshine, does a body good.

It is NOT a tattoo
Whatever it is, it is not a tattoo. Specter says it looks to be painted. I agree.
The albedo is wrong for a tattoo. It might even be "Photoshopped," a query I base on the paler appearance of the extraliminal skin. Also, and not related or relevant (but that's the sort of thread this is), the individual in the photo linked to the first post in this thread has the most common genetic skin disorder, keratosis pilaris, inherited as an autosomal dominant. |
He still has it in the same position in this photo and was apparently flown to some MS thing on the basis of the tatt.

Oh, no . . .
Well, I looked at that link just above, posted by fazstp
When the first post in THAT thread says "Have the entire decortations in pink and orange" I think that what is meant is "decortications," or removal of the cortex, presumably the cerebral cortex. |
