Mac/PC home networking is not too hard. Load up VNC/Remote Desktop and suddenly you can control/access any computer in the home from any other regardless of OS.

however you should take security into consideration. when sending data over the internet anyone can see what you are sending unless it is secure

If it's all happening on my LAN side of my router, will anyone on the WAN side be able to see my traffic? I'm under the impression that LAN traffic is not a security risk if all wired clients are mine and the wireless network is secured (WPA). I am not doing any funny stuff with the router like opening ports in the firewall. (And this is getting off topic, sorry.)

Getting back to the original question...

You'll find old versions of many web browsers for many platforms at browsers.evolt.org. This includes just about every version of IE/Mac.

sorry for some reason i thought i read that you were file sharing over the internet


as for anyone with an intel mac and needs to run IE, just get cross over and download and install IE as normal.
