Do you want to create your own site, or want a web designer to do it for you?

olej24 04-29-2006 05:30 PM

????????????????

trumpet_999 04-30-2006 08:47 AM

It sounds as if the drugs your on are affecting your ability to use forums correctly, but if you want a recommendation as to what I quite like for ultra simple web design - RapidWeaver. In other instances i use studio mx and other apps to create it properly through code etc... i give up with you....sorry

spvn 04-30-2006 11:49 AM

I recommend using iWeb

Photek 04-30-2006 12:19 PM

lets start a 'most unreadable' award! :D

I have read that post 20 times now and it doesnt make sense...it just confuses me.... :D

Bitzomondo 04-30-2006 01:00 PM

Pop in an aspirin. Sundays are known to be tough to get through!

olej24 04-30-2006 02:00 PM

I think he/she/it is not english speaker

Photek 04-30-2006 02:42 PM

I think we (including me) should stop being such bastards... if this site was in any other language than English I wouldn't be able to participate.. so fair play to Alex for trying.

Alex if your out there... can you be more specific about what your after?

olej24 04-30-2006 03:01 PM

If it was in a different language then i would find a mac forum in english. He should find one in his language if he can't talk proper. Anyway i've got somme snooker to watch

missbeehive1963 04-30-2006 04:29 PM

εδώ Alex

ελπίζω οι μεταφράσεις μου εντάξει εδώ, η αυτόματη μετάφραση
κάνει λάθος πάντα.

εν πάση περιπτώσει ελπίζω ότι αυτό είναι αυτό που ψάχνετε;

.....i think

p.s. was that "good luck" part of your challenge?
go on give us another, i am white hot.

biovizier 04-30-2006 05:13 PM

The post has the "feel" of a "Sherlock" translation... some examples

English > Dutch > French > German > English
"Heh.. Where is it or other network album here regarding the creators?
I am the need it.
For example as - I saw it really here here to Google.
Well the luck!"

English > Chinese Traditional > English
"Heh.. Is here some World Wide Web decorated corridor in where about
the site creator?
I need it.
For example, took here - Google, I truly saw its here.
Wishes the good luck!"

English > Korean > English
"Heh.. Does what kind of web anger Rang regarding here site creator
happen to where?
Me it is necessary it.
When for example with here, -Google, me it it sees with realness it is here.
Good fortune it is empty,!"

You get the picture.
If the problem is a language issue, I'd say the poster should give it a shot in their native language on the off chance that someone can translate - it doesn't sound like it's a very technical question.

To put it another way,
"It gets the picture which it spreads out. When the problem will
connect language problem point, the poster to chance it burnt who it
will translate will be a possibility inside their wool national
language and to fall must give me it will talk and theyn the place
quite like technical problem - it is not thought."

Good fortune it is empty,!

Bitzomondo 04-30-2006 05:21 PM

what? biovizier I think you added to the confursion, darn it!

The name Coppas sounds greek to me and the sentence construction Italianish, which is not far.
A google search on 'Alex Coppas' gave me no helpful results or indeed any indication as to the origins of the name, 'Coppas'

May I suggest to our friend Alex to babelfish.altavista.com his native language into English?

Time to sell my shares in Cyberdyne Systems.

Reflect_TRUTH 05-08-2006 09:46 AM

Now I'm just curious as to how you found so many of his posts. Do you frequent that many forums... were you trying to hunt him down?

fazstp 05-08-2006 09:33 PM

Bitzomondo may be on to something. I'm thinking spambot.

Step 1. Post innocent if oddly worded and misplaced question
Step 2. Post helpful reply with link to whatever you're selling

... actually it looks from his/hers/its other postings that it may have been skipping step 2 and just pushing the site linked in the post but it was translated to google from the original link.

... another explanation of their twisted english could be that they are in fact a llama as stated in some of their member profiles.

Bitzomondo 05-09-2006 04:45 AM

"Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy all for the love of you. It won't be a stylish marriage, I can't afford a carriage. But you'll look sweet upon the seat of a bicycle built for two. Daaaisy....daaisy."

somebody put this thread out of its misery..

i5m 05-09-2006 05:58 AM

It's a spambot. A bit of info here:

http://support.invisionfree.com/inde...owtopic=255706

'alexcoppas' is all over google. I'd suggest deleting the account and removing the post.

chris_on_hints 05-09-2006 06:58 AM

spambot maybe, but why link to google.com?

yellow 05-09-2006 11:18 AM

Done and done. Thanks for the report!
