For Non-Protected AAC files: Organize by file type, selet all the AAC files and then convert the whole lot at once. For Protected AAC files: You have to export to a CD and then copy back as Mp3. This is made easy by using DRM Dumpster to automate the process using iTunes built-in features and a single CD-RW. |

MP3s in Car Stereo Not Playing Back Properly.
I have a different problem of sorts: I have ripped some CDs that I own to MP3s for my car stereo. But it will play some of the MP3 tracks and not others.
I have a 2007 Jetta (I don't know if this is pertinent or not) and I ripped some CDs and was disappointed to see that some of them simply won't play back properly. I get an ERR TITLE error. I am assuming it is an error with the Title of the file-- however I see NOTHING different in the way these files are named compared with some that do play. Could it be that some of these CDs that are manufactured may have some sort of anti-piracy software/script that is preventing the files from being converted to an MP3? |
