This all reminds me of a Demo I did for the local User's Group when 10.2 came out. I demonstrated the various utilities to customize the OS X theme. Through the course of the demo, the Mac came to look just like Windows XP. As the final portion of the demo, I ran a utility (I don't remember the name) that restored all the default Theme settings and instantly the Mac was back to normal! I got a standing ovation! :)

BTW: A bit of history. I have the distinction of being the first publisher of a Theme Utility. My shareware control panel was written for System 7.0 and was titled "NeXT WDEF 3". It replaced Apple's Black & White windows with a 4 color 3D like appearance and was very popular with early Mac Notebook owners since it didn't cause those white lines across the LCD display. While it was shareware ($5 was all I asked!), it was fully functional without payment but included the full source code with payment. I received one shareware payment. One! That payment came from Greg Landweber; The man who later wrote Aaron.

Um...if that customizing for OSX you're talking about is free, would you care to elaborate on it? I've been using shape shifter demo...but I really don't want to spend 20 bucks to use it.

I don't want to use Pear PC cause it will bog my machine down. And yes I have to use a PC at work cause of policy/budget. I do web design so I do use some system heavy programs Adobe CS2, Quark, Dreamweaver etc. I'm not exactly sure what the specs are of the machine I'm on - 3.ghz pentium 4 (possibly dual processor but I'm not sure) but only 512mb of ram.
