What happened to your other computers? Surely you did not dispose of them!?

The external monitor is sat on the floor as I don't need it atm. The iBook is sat on the floor, the iMac is still there under a blanket (its in firewire target mode as the powerbook is booted off it till I get a new internal hard drive for the powerbook.)

The legacy macs are still safely stored in the loft :D

17" Powerbook, Quicksilver G4 (with 22" monitor I scored on Ebay for just £300 NEW), Wintel box 1, Wintel box 2, my tired old beige G3 running as an ISDN server & hi-res tranny scanner, networked Laserjet 5000, fax machine - and my luvverly cherry red Fender Strat (every office should have one)!

Hey cool CAl. Are those 2 computers? Or just a monitor and a powerbook? Why are there 2 mice?

It's just a PB and a CRT. I alternate between using a mouse on the right and a trackball on the left, to minimize strain on my hands. Normally I have another monitor off to the left running with Synergy to a G5, but someone borrowed it. I'm about to add a fourth monitor with Synergy on a Windows machine farther left.

I was pretty hammered last night (college party, can't remember anything, etc, etc (got my g/f home safe though! don't think her mum was too pleased with the state she was in though :o ))

Anyway, woke up this morning still hammered (college was a blast, nothing like having a physics lesson then drinking carling then going to maths!) Saw mail.app was open with a new message being composed.

Turns out I'd tried to reply to someone trying to say 'yeah sure mate.' What ended up on screen was more like yuuseaeah; saireuwsa masa]\'asalk@EW!

I've posted here once or twice whilst drunk, and both times ended up having to edit the post the next morning because it was so unreadable.

Stupidest thing I've done whilst I was drunk so far is slice my thumb in half last night with my new knife. I also came onto my maths teacher at the party (shes 50+ and looks like a dog *insert smilie being sick*)

So yeah, I'm just ticker atm :D

LOL..I went to art school in San Francisco. Art schools are normally wacky, and San Francisco is one of the most liberal cities in the world. Put those together and you have alchohol in class. Of course we hid the drinks in styrafoam cups, and orange juice...but who were we really kidding.

One semester I had a 6-hour sculpture class and we'd normally have 2 pints of Guiness for lunch (no time for food). For the entire second half of class we were toasted. Didn't make for good work, but we did make a pretty cool 10-pound clay football once.

Omni? Haven't used my feet yet, but if they made a foot mouse, I'd try it. :D Learning to use a left-hand trackball is actually a lot easier than most people think. I've set up a lot of users with one, and only one of them has been unable to get used to it.

Took two pictures, and I'm terrible at stitching photos together, so this won't look seamless.

There's also a gigabit switch behind the powerbook.

My mate was drinking Jack Daniels and Coke in a Coke Cola can during physics. Our teacher is like 50 and totally awesome, anyway the teacher walks in and asks my mate if he can have a drink. My mate was like "err, you'd prefer not to.... :rolleyes: " teacher took a drink and ended up saying "must remember to drink your drinks more often!"

Was very funny. My G/f's mother hates me atm :o
