Groove Salad and Secret Agent are two of my favorites, although I listen via Shoutcast. I've just recently switched over to iTunes since I'm still on a PC for the moment. I'm listening to some of my own electronic.

Currently - Desmond Williams - "Dread A The Roughest" off Supperclub #5

Right now, the last, current, and next songs on my shuffled playlist are:

Black Water - Doobie Bros
Rhapsody in Blue - Gershwin
Another One Bites the Dust - Queen

I'm a throwback. ;)

Oooh - and followed by a stirring rendition of "Yo-ho (a Pirate's Life for Me)." :D

Twelve Motion 02-01-2005 09:57 AM

I got Enigma playing now, but when I get tired of my own music I always hit up Secret Agent and Groove Salad!

You know about a year ago there was an electronica station called Radio Babylon which was by far my favorite. Then one day it was just gone from iTunes... I was crushed!

Well cameranerd74 what is that line? Know thine enemy. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. I wouldn't worry Cam after all, what do the makers of Lamborghini say when they pull up for work in a Volkswagon? Thats right, "my other car is a lamborghini" :D

Wow, I wish I had the means to check out all these new musicians I have never heard of. Right now I hear Smokey Robinson playing, the tracks of my tears. A classic.

Black Sabbath - Fairies wear boots
then due to interuptions I missed about 4 songs and when I got back it was the doors,

Yes most of my music is older than I am

Caius 02-07-2005 01:33 PM

Black Sabbath - Killing Yourself to Live

Most of my music is now modern stuff. I would say 20% are undiscovered bands, ie not big. 40% of it is older than me, and the rest is well known modern stuff.

I've been listening to Rockabilly Radio a lot lately. It's on iTunes in the Radio folder under Americana. It's also available on the web.

I remember playing the Köln Concert on the (then) new G4 tower that my dads work just had delivered. He walked in and commented that it was an expensive CD player. I was working on a Bondi iMac. Can't think now why I wasn't on the G4...

ArcticStones 02-11-2005 07:53 PM

Don’t know much about speakers. Folks, what do you recommend connecting to a Mac?

I have some digital Creative speakers from Cambridge (or is it the other way around). Sounds damned good for the price to my ears. I burn all my CDs at 320 AAC.

Ah, the joy of great and varied music! :)

Caius 02-11-2005 08:05 PM

You'll probably get more response creating a new thread ;)

Personally I have the JBL Creature II speakers. They distort slightly at full volume with my Pb sometimes, so I'm looking to upgrade to the Harmon Kardon Soundstick II's sometime soon.

Craig R. Arko 02-12-2005 07:19 AM

Yes, please make a new thread and don't this this one offtopic. :)

ArcticStones 02-12-2005 07:26 AM

I’d be happy to start another thread when I have more time.
In the meantime, I promise -- not another word about speakers. :)
