Sorry to bring up a very old thread, but it relates to my problem. Has anyone been able to fix this issue?

Here are the recent entries of my windowserver.log file:

Code:

Feb 14 16:20:04  [178] CGXPerformInitialDisplayConfiguration
Feb 14 16:20:04  [178]  Display 0x4270b00: MappedDisplay Unit 0; Vendor 0x610 Model 0x9c2c S/N 0; online enabled built-in (0,0)[1440 x 900], base addr 0x0xb0018000

Feb 14 16:20:19  [178] kCGErrorFailure: CGXDisableUpdate: UI updates were forcibly disabled by application "SystemUIServer" for over 1 second. Server has re-enabled them.
Feb 14 16:21:03  [178] kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGXPostEventByConnection: invalid connection
Feb 14 16:21:48  [178] kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGXPostEventByConnection: invalid connection
Feb 14 16:22:07  [178] kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGXPostEventByConnection: invalid connection
Feb 14 16:28:39  [178] kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGXPostEventByConnection: invalid connection

Also getting the 60-80 instances of CACHE_HIT.

I too have tried disabling all startup items.

I believe this problem is preventing me from getting MythTV to operate properly, because everytime I run it it bails out and I get a new "kCGErrorIllegalArgument: CGXPostEventByConnection: invalid connection" entry in the log.

I have searched all over the place and have found nothing, so any help is appreciated.

This issue is solved (for me) by Tiger.
