RE: Corel
Hi John, I replied to the post you quoted a bit further down the page, I've quoted my reply to save me retyping it:-

I reinstalled the whole Graphics Suite after a clean install of Panther. Hope that helps. Rob. |

To correct this issue, do the following to delete the preferences: 1. Double click on the Macintosh harddrive 2. Go to the Users folder | Username | Library | Preferences 3. Trash the CorelGraphics 11 folder 4. Trash the file com.corel.PHOTO-PAINT.plist 5. Launch PHOTO-PAINT 11 |
iView Media Pro 1.5 no longer deletes files after uploading
As far as I can tell, this is the only part of the application that no longer works under Panther. After upgrading IVMP to 2.5, post-uploading deletion worked again. Hooray!

iChat Not Responding!!!Please Help
I am currently using OS v.10.3.4 and have iChat 2.1. When I click the app to start, it gets stuck and does nothing at all. When I click on iChat in the dock it tells me "application not responding". I tried downloading the newest iChat AV from the apple site and when I try to install it, it tells me that it can not be installed on this machine!?
I'm not sure why this is happening but I'm hoping someone out there can help me!!!! Please! I also get the same "application not responding" with Safari when I try typing something anywhere inside the browser. Is there a link here? |

Sherlock
Installed combined update 10.3.5 on a new system - first I used Backup 2 to archive my account stuff, then I booted from my system CD and erased the HD, then I installed 10.3.3 from the CD, then the combined update 10.3.5 as well as all the security and app updates.
When I moved my preferences back into my home directory and then ran each app to test I found that Sherlock's channels were completely missing! I don't know where they are. I've tried deleting the Sherlock preferences, but that didnt bring 'em back. Any idea what I did here and how I can get back the channels w/out re-installing the OS? Vectorworks 9.5.2 has serious issues when producing PDF's of drawings.
Usually crashes and corrupts working file. |
Acrobat 5
The installer cannot find the system. Patching doesn't work, because... they can't find the system. I did a clean install to work around this, but it's worse than before. I even tried unmounting my secondary disk, as I noticed the error always came up when the installer was searching that. Same result, the installer errors, then says it installed successfully, but hangs on launch and patch cannot find install. *sigh*
My determination, to find an adobe competitor. Does somebody want to make a product that WORKS? |
I have installed Acrobat 5, not reader under Panther
I have installed Acrobat 5, not reader under Panther, with out issue.
I have to assume there is a trace of a previous install gumming up the works. You should start a new thread in the software forum so your issuee gets appropriate attention. |
