I have a drive with loads of arty stuff on and need to move it to Windows.

Trouble is, I need to find all the 4Gb+ files and move them first.

So I thought use terminal, and am in the process of looking thru my Linux book for a command that can:

find all the 4GB+ files
display their paths
copy/move them to a different folder

The folders can get quite deep

Can anyone pls help me out?

You could use the 'find' command for this.

# find_larger: find files larger than a certain size (in bytes)
find_larger() { find . -type f -size +${1}c ; }

You can run commands via 'find's "-exec" option.

But it would probably be easier just to do this search in Finder and then you can move the files manually.
