Disk Copy Confusion!!!

Hey there peoples...I have a reeeeeeeeaallly dumb question. I'm trying to make a disk image of a CD using disk copy which is what I'm used to using from classic...but it won't let me at all. Am I going about this the wrong way here or am I totally retarded in thinking that disk copy will actually MAKE a disk image?

Please someone tell me how to make a disk image from X? PLEEEEEEASE!

Although I haven't done this in a while, I think all you need to do it select from the Image menu, New Image From Device, and follow the rest to point to your mounted CD. Hopefully the rest is self explanatory because I just don't remember off hand right now.
