Hello,

I recently had my old imac g4 of 2002 fitted with a wifi airport card.
I'm trying to join a network protected by a wpa personal password and my computer won't do it.
However the card sees the network and it connects to nearby networks not password protected.
I downloaded an application called Istumbler which tells me that my protected network is the one with the strongest signal, so it's not an issue of being out of range and I know that the password is correct because my laptop will join the network no problem.
Is it possible that the airport card (as opposed to airport extreme in my laptop) has problems with the Netgear router? The vendor of the card said it shouldn't .
Anybody has any ideas for me to try?

Thank you

Exactly what version of OS X are you using on this iMac?

I'm using Tiger and I have kept up with every update ever popped up.
