I got an AirBook and decided to import my User account from my MBP. Everything completed after about 5 hours, but the Airbook hung at the blue screen and cogwheel on restart - that is to say it never shut down.
Eventually, I hit the power switch and restarted but only the original User account shows in System Preferences, not the imported one.
Looking in the Users folder on the HD reveals that the imported account files are there and, indeed, the available HDD space has reduced by the expected size of the imported account - circa 10 Gb.
Do I delete these files and start again, or is there something I can do to get the imported account up and running?
TIA
