Hopefully, this thread will be a place for users to post bugs which have been fixed by an OS X update, but are not listed in the support.apple.com/kb release notes. Apple is sometimes stingy with details on exactly which bugs got fixed in each OS X update. It would be nice to have a user's list to accompany Apple's list. Any features which Apple has added or changed would be welcome in this thread, too.

This is not a help request thread.

I'll start with one:
10.5.4
The Screen Sharing mini control panel is now accessible while in full screen mode. This allows the user to exit the full screen mode without force quitting the Screen Sharing application.

Before 10.5.4 the panel just didn't appear, and there was no way to properly exit from full screen mode!

They seem to have fixed the ARDAgent bug... which is nice.

Really? Rob Griffiths reported (http://www.macworld.com/article/134230/2008/06/1054update.html) that 10.5.4 did not fix that bug.

Hmm. It doesn't run as root on mine, though I've not got Remote Management turned on or done anything to it.

10.5.4
I think I just noticed an added feature in the Screen Saver section of System Preferences, but it's possible that it has been around for a while. There is an option to choose which dictionary the Word of the Day comes out of. Anyone with an earlier OS version can verify or refute this "find".

I checked on my MacBook, and the ARDAgent still runs as root without Remote Management enabled.

10.5.4 does seem to have broken my You Control Tunes (http://www.yousoftware.com/tunes/tunes.php) application. (If someone could verify that it would be appreciated.)

Sounds like it might be a good addition to the thread (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=90982) "Applications "broken" by Leopard (10.5)".
