I just got OS 10.1.2 last week. When I print CD labels in Appleworksthey are printing about half size. I am not sore what is wrong. My "About Appleworks" screen says I am running 6.2. Any ideas out there?

Is this problem only when you're printing CD labels? It would be good to have more information about your problem. Let us know.

I tried printing a Xmas letter again and the print center launched and thought it was printing; but my printer (Epson Stylus 740) didn't even blink one time.

I continue to have miniature CD labels, about 40% of full size. Whenever I go to the scale menu option it is at 50%, could that be the problem? I have had a couple of apps forgetting prefs since I upgraded. I only installed OS X last week so I expected a few things to have a glitch or two.
I tried printing a Xmas letter again and the print center launched and thought it was printing; but my printer (Epson Stylus 740) didn't even blink one time.
Then Appleworks "unexpectedly quit". I tried to print an invoice yesterday and the print center would appear in the dock but after a few seconds it disappeared by itself without printing. I finally copied the invoice and pasted it into Textedit and printed it there yesterday.
Thoroughly bewildered--

Maybe updating your prebindings would re-associate your AppleWorks and the Print Center, I dunno, but it's worth a try. In terminal, type after the prompt:
sudo update_prebinding -root /
... and then enter your administrator password. When it's finished, type 'exit' (no quotes) at the command prompt and then quit terminal.
If it works, I would suggest you change the scale resolution to 100% and see if that makes your label size correctly.
