iphone doesn't save login passwords

Hello,

my iphone does not save the login information about several web sites such as Facebook, Google Reader, etc etc

Even if I tick off "Remember my iPhone", or "Remember my password" it doesn't work. I have to write my email and password every time.

How can I solve it ?

Is your iPhone jailbroken?

OK well.. I had this problem and..... there is a FIX! The problem is the permissions on the cookies folder is screwed up. I had this issue and to fix it I did this...

chown -R mobile /var/mobile/

you should enter this into TERM VT100 which you can install via Installer, or SSH into your phone. Google is your friend.

The cookies folder and the cookies.plist file must be owned by the user "mobile". otherwise they cannot be modified my safari (like read only).

the solution is like described in the previous post but a bit more in detail and it's not needed to change the owner of all /var/mobile content
