I have a question regarding reinstallation of OS 9.2.

My harddisk has 3 partitions; one for OS 9.2, one for OS X and a data-partition.

Now my question is:

Is it possible to reformat my OS 9.2 partition (booting from install-CD) and reinstall OS 9.2 on it without damaging any classic connectivity/capability under OS X ?
The reason for me to do this is a lot of mess on my 9.2 partition...

Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can wipe your 9.2 partition and reinstall the Classic OS without damaging Classic functionality. When you have finished your 9.2 install boot back into X and select the Classic system folder in the System Preferences. The first time you launch the Classic environment from within X it will add the Classic resources back to the 9.2 system folder.

I've done this 4 times since OS X DP 2 with no ill effects.
