OK, here we go again... Despite all the glitz in Leopard, a simple bug from Tiger has still not been corrected.
For reasons I'm not going to explain, I want these settings:
my system to run in English,
the short date format to be 2007-12-18,
Monday as the first day of the week,
Day and month names in English,
the metric system of units,
the Euro as the currency,
the location as Geneva, Switzerland
and the number format with ' (apostrophe) as the thousands separator and . (dot) as the decimal point (e.g. 12'345.67 and not 12,345.67 or 12'345,67).
I could do this in Panther, but not in Tiger; however the Panther preference pane worked in Tiger so I had a work-around.
On my Intel / Leopard machine it's gone wrong again: I cannot choose the number format independently, there is no customise button.
Anybody a remedy?
Thanks in advance, and Apple programmers please put the customise button back on the number format!
Robert.
