I have a colleague not willing to give up on OS9 quite yet who is having a horrible time with Earthlink (making my time at work tough). Are there Mac friendly ISPs out there (<=OS9)?

Thanks much in advance.

There are lots of 'em. You don't mention where you are, but if you're in the U.S., there's Syracuse.Net (http://www.syracuse.net/) (who give you a free 7100/7200 if you sign up for a year) and AppleISP (http://www.appleisp.net/) . I've used both and haven't ever had any problems.

There's actually a MacAddict.com thread (http://www.macaddict.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2794) about Mac ISPs going on right now. There's a bunch of links throughout the discussion.

If you're looking for dial-up, The List (http://www.thelist.com/areacode.html) is usually a good place to start. Or, if you're thinking DSL, DSLReports (http://www.dslreports.com/) is a good place to look for user reviews.

Excellent. Thank you very much. I will pass along the information and maybe get some work done at the same time!
