Dang! Dang! Dang! I missed it when I was installing Jag, and it set up my default user name to a name other than what I wanted. Now I have to decide which way to go about fixing it.
I just installed Jag so it's no big deal if I trash the install and do it again other than the amount of time it takes to run the install and updates. This is what I will do if this is the best solution.
But if I can somehow edit that name without any bad consequences, I'd sure love to do it. I read another thread about making the change, and my only concern is that I have never logged on as root and would prefer to not do so. I don't mind using sudo however.
Backups are not a concern since this is a fresh install of Jag, and I'm currently running on a full bootable backup until I get the new install the way I want.
Recommendations? Edit the user name or reinstall?
