Mail App and Google IMAP

Is there a way to take my existing POP Mail Mailbox in Mail and covert it over to IMAP?

No. You will have to delete your POP account to create a new IMAP account. If you previously set Google to delete your mail as you received it, you may want to move your current mail into a new mailbox (Mailbox->New Mailbox…), before deleting the POP account.

BTW:Bummer… They haven't updated my account to enable IMAP yet. :(
