Hi All

I have a 14 GB Drive and I can believe I have 4GB free. I have Two partitions )S 9.2.2 4 GB used 1.5 GB and OS X 10.1.2 10Gb used 4Gb free.

On Os X I have the developer tools with all except the additional languages.

Extra appss are Appleworks, Postgres, iMovie, iPhoto, iTunes and VPC5 with Win2k for oracle 8.1.7.

I know what I can backup and save to save space on the iApps but can I get rid of Developer stuff without losing the compiler for nix.

I cant seem to find anything using search engines so any URLS to help would be gratefully recieved.

Cheers
Simon

I think you can safely delete /Developer and still compile via the command line if all you are using is command line tools. Of course you will loose project builder and the ability to compile alot of new open source software written to provide gui apps to command line tools. You would be better off just going through /Developer and deleting the documentation which occupies most of the space. The best app for finding file bloat is OmniDiskSweeper.
