IMO, what a load of cr4p... why do we want slow loading, internet connection dependent application. They load slow enough on wi-fi, yet alone using edge... and obviously, any information stored with these webapps is only accessible with an internet connection.
Native apps is what we need!

I trust nobody's sensibilities will be mortally offended if people find some useful applications using this service. ;)

I tried several last night. Interesting how they ALL are "staff picks"!! Not very excited by them so far.
It would be good to have a way to "rank" them or add feedback based on cust opinion.

Nah, just all (or almost all?) on the first page. If you go to the second page, you'll notice that they are no longer listed as staff picks.
Has anybody tried Files2Phones (http://www.apple.com/webapps/productivity/files2phones.html) yet? That looks slightly interesting.

The fun thing is that Apples iPhone Webapp page is not itself an iPhone Webapp(!). I find Apples iPhone Webapp page hard to navigate on the iPhone.

Hear Hear..
"WebApp" seems like an oxymoron.
I'm sure some have found these apps useful. But for me, the network requirement and poor performance make these a non-starter.
Native apps are needed, and some of the "hacked" native apps are quite good.
Even web-based applications that allowed local storage would be light years ahead of the "iPhone web pages" they have now.

If only they'd announce a native software development kit. (http://apple.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/10/17/162238&from=rss)
