Hi, is there an application i can download to allow me to view pps files?

NeoOffice or OpenOffice are free and will open pps or ppt files.

a pps (powerpointshow) comes from MS PowerPoint... that is also available for Mac... but not free :)

Apple's Keynote should also be able to open them.
