OS X file open preferences across all app's.

Hi!

I use Firefox a lot to open web pages for testing prior to upload.

Firefox's open dialog defaults to name, then date-modified.

I want date-modified first, then name. Tried dragging each to swap their order, but didn't work.

This is a preference, right? Where and how do I change it? Assume it is an OS X system preference which affects all applications which run under OS X.
