Hi everyone,
I've got to do some important work in the next few days while having my MacBook Pro (17" Rev A, OS X 10.4.9) connected to a projector via a DVI > VGA adapter. The model doesn't support any resolutions higher than 1280x1024, so that's what I've got to use on my MBP as well since the screens are mirrored.
At least I can have this resolution displayed with the correct 4:3 aspect ration via the Display pref pane, but it's still stretched to fit the screen height (and thereby blurry).
So I'm asking, is there any way to have a lower-than-native resolution displayed unscaled, just centered with black borders on all sides on my MBP screen? It's rather important so I'd be grateful for any kind of help.
