Key Combo to bring up User List on Start-up?

Hey all,

I use my wife's ibook from time to time, so I set myself up with my own user account. I disabled automatic login, so now every time she uses her ibook, she has to login. She's finding that annoying, since I rarely use the iBook.

My question then is: Is there a way to set automatic login to a particular user - in this case my wife - and when I want to login, rather then loging as her, then logout and to then get presented with the user list, can I instead use a nifty little key combo that can bring up the user list during startup?

No. This would have to be implemented in the firmware of the machine, or in some psycho while-booting script, and I'm pretty sure it isn't.

The only way you could get away with something like this would be to boot into single user mode, changing the prefs for automatic login and then continue booting.

How do you change the prefs for automatic login via the command line?
