PTH iTunes notifier. Turn it off, and the 'patch' goes away.
(just a guess)
No, it is not going
it s still there

Bet it's another background app causing a conflict of some sort. Slowly trim down your apps running until the 'patch' goes away.
Do you have a second user set up that is 'vanilla' to test with?

Hi,
Do you have any peripherals connected to your machine but do not have their Classic drivers/extensions loaded in your Classic extension set? If so, the box is probably a dialog box informing you of that fact, but my guess is that the interface sometimes gets screwed up between the Classic app and the OS X Finder. I remember this being more of an issue with pre-Jaguar OS X and the only way I found to get rid of the untouchable box was to logout and login again.

Hi,
Are you running multiple computers on a network? I have noticed that a dialog box appears very quickly with a click to ok button at the very end of classic loading. A work around, but not a perfect solution is to click your mouse multiple times where the dialog box ok button appears. You can then run classic and osx without the screen box.
Hope this helps,
Mitch
