does anybody have any tips on getting an imac G3 running os9.1 connected wirelessly , other then with an old airport card(+adapter)? on the secondhand market, prices for these things are ridiculously high here (holland)... i think i should be able to find a new device for less money, just can't find any...

I have personally installed these on a few client machines of mine. It basically creates a bridge over your existing ethernet card to wifi. It works pretty well

as far as finding one over in Europe, I am not too sure. However there has to be a similar device for you over there.

it's not so easy to find something, that's why i wrote that post.
the aeropad is the only one i found and it's available in the UK i think but i found some pretty bad reviews on it:

but nevermind, after all i managed to find an original airport card for a decent price on ebay. stroke of luck i guess (or i bought a total piece of crap...)
thanks anyway!

I use a D-Link DWL-810 connected to a USB PCI card for my beige G3/233. Or is it connected to the Ethernet port? Darn, I forget.
