Can anyone help me?.....i have an Apple g5 that wont boot up,
so i ran the hardware test and gave out an erro code 2 STF/8/3:8 S-ATA Bus 0 - Master...
what does this mean? would it be expensive to have this fixed, please let me know, would graetly appreciate it, many thanks

I think a S-ATA Bus refers to the Hard Drive or connector to the Hard Drive..
So it sounds like your Mac wont boot due to a Hard Drive problem....
I agree with Photek, but the nature of the problem isn't clear. You may want to be certain that the cables (both the power cable and the data cable) to your hard drive are securely seated. It is quite possible for connectors to loosen due to vibration (that's a very frequent cause of machines that are "dead on arrival"--the cabling has jarred loose during shipping, but it -can- happen in just ordinary use). That would most certainly be the easiest and cheapest possible problem. If, having determined that the cables are in good order, it still won't boot, the problem could lie with the hard disk drive itself, which would be a more serious matter.
