DVD Won't Stay In Drive

hi,

i'm trying to install 10.4.3 server on an xserver. problem is that the dvd won't stay in the drive. i put it in slot but it gets kicked out.

i've tried using firmware boot commands to get around this, but the disks gets kicked out.

btw, my desktop machine mounts the dvd just fine.

I have no experience with an Xserve, but the drive is a DVD drive, not a CD drive right?

the drive is not a cd drive.
