View Full Version : Setting a Default Font in Safari

I would like to set my default font in Safari to Geneva. How could I do this?
I once read that I should type a command into my terminal, but I can't find the article anymore.

Are the font settings in Safari Preferences not working?

Aren't the settings in preferences only for when a site hasn't specified a font?
I have set the Standard Font to Geneva, but say when I'm at google, it doesn't show. Instead it's something like Helvetica. And this board shows verdana I think.
I want it to be like Firefox, where my chosen font shows all the time.

I think in many browsers, if you want to completely override site fonts, you need to apply your own CSS style sheet with your font specifications. In Safari, that's done under Preferences, Advanced tab, Style Sheet. I haven't actually done this but I hope that helps.
