I have got several movies and operas in mp4 and would love to get them burned on DVD in a format that every dvd player can read (mov?). I'm new to this, what application could i use?
Thanks for every help i can get

The best and easiest to use is Roxio's Toast Titanium (http://www.roxio.com/en/products/toast/index.jhtml). It costs $80, but I think it's ease of use and features make it well worth the cost as it will allow you to create chapters, titles and even personalized menus. One great function is that it converts and burns to disc in one fluid step.

If you are looking for a free convertor, I suggest ffmpegX/ (http://homepage.mac.com/major4/). It's very powerful and allows for a great deal more options, making it more difficult to learn.

Both will allow you to create VCD (CD) and Video-TS (DVD) formats are DVD player readable.
