View Full Version : iDVD without the Apple...?

Is there a way to remove the Apple logo
from the iDVD themes...?
( I am already truly amazed if not. )

The Apple is easy enough to find. If you right click on iDVD in the Finder and select "Show Package Contents", then Contents > Resources, you will see Apple.tif. It seems very dangerous to just delete this though. You could experiment with replacing it with an image of the same pixel dimensions of your own choosing.
If you mess up iDVD hacking around inside of it, be prepared to replace it from a backup.

I think that instead of replacing
or deleting it I will simply make it 100% transparent.

Actually, am still hunting for the right file.
That << apple.tif >> was not the right apple after all.
The one I am trying to respectfully remove
is the solid white apple
you can see in themes like << Reflections. >>
If ( when? ) I find it
I will report back with the filename.

It's like the second or third item in preferences. "Show Apple logo watermark."

Ugh. I should have looked there first...!
( Thank you. )
( ( But, editorially, what a strange preference this is. ) )

I've asked my share of obvious questions too, it happens.
